Se also is the Jolly Business Men~s Club. RECREATION COUNCIL NEWS The Excelsior Dramatic club in a recent meeting at the Clifford Street Center planned to stage four plays. Productions titled ~Mgrder in Reverse,~ ~Jerry Jains In,~ and ~The present at the next regular meeting which will be held at the Clifford Street Center Tuesday evening, Apri: 1, 8:30 P.M. The newly elected officers are as follows: ~President, Edw. R. Simmons; vice president. iAbner Davis: secretary, Mrs. Grover Childress; assistant secretary, Mrs. Leola Calloway; business manager, James Murgerson; treasurer, John Gibson; directress, Mrs. Rosa L, Kemp. We are urging parents to endeavor to get uniforms for our big ~parade in May. The scout committee with J. D. Shock chairman, Jacob Robertson, treasurer, Leroy Coleman end E. R. ~Simmons, registered with the troops and ade preparing for an interesting program for the_ boys. The troop will participate in the woodshop work at the St.. John Center. Those attending meeting will participate in the swimming classes for scouts at the YMCA, each Wednesday, 3:35 to 4:30 and advance swimmers at Central High School eah Wednesday 5:00 - boys were present.
