The round-table talk concerned for a sewing exhibit to be given in the near future. Watch out, ladies, look for the date, Richard Rivers, reporter. UNIQUE BRIDGE CLUB The Unique Bridge Club met at the home pf Sam - Scurlock, 1224 Everrett Street. Mr. Scurlock was host. Mrs. Kenneth Brooks was a visitor from Monroe, Michigan. Other visitors, were Earl Omoer and Randall Green. After the meeting, ~ of the members motored to Saginaw to the Sunshine Gardens. On January 27, the Unique Bridge Club will have a bridge and whist party at the Elks Rest on St. John. The lucky ticket holder will receive a basket of groceries. All other clubs are invited to come. Many members were present and the boys had a jolly good time among themselves after the meeting around the buffet table luncheoning and refreshing themselves. The Kenneth Oden Post of the American Legion is~ giving benefit, dance Saturday night at their head-~ quarters, 2712 St. John. Better come on out. There'll be lots of fun. Mrs. Anna Dinscn has just returned ~from Chicago where she has been visiting her daughter, Mrs. Charlie Elder Walker. Mrs. Dinson is the motber also of the ~ successful James Elder of Elder~s Grocery Store. She lives in Elim Park and keeps a lovely home on Crocker Street. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Dent enjoyed a very grand evening at thteir home, 2046 Dwight last. Friday night wthen they were the pleasant hosts to many friends at tending the fifth anniversary of the Dents~. married life.
