Research Expedition to Egypt 1965 (3 slide boxes (in one envelope ), 16 prints)

Approximately 60 slides from the collection of Dentistry Prof. Joseph T. Hartsook, related to a 1965 UM expedition to Egypt. The expedition researched cemetery populations of Gebel Adda, Old Nubia. This area was to be flooded with the opening of the Aswan dam. The expedition team excavated and X-rayed skulls. The slides document the expedition and show both their working and living conditions.
