Access and Use

Acquisition Information:

The records were deposited with the library beginning in November 1985 by long-time UMGASS member Harry Benford (Donor no. 3123). Additional records were received in 1997 and 1999 through UMGASS (Donor no. 8613), and additional sound recordings (audiotapes and discs) and videotapes were received in 2003.

Periodic additions to the records expected.

Access Restrictions:

The collection is open without restriction

To protect fragile audiovisual recordings (such as audio cassettes, film reels, and VHS tapes), the Bentley Historical Library has a policy of converting them to digital formats by a professional vendor whenever a researcher requests access.
