The Plans and Proposals series (five oversize folders) also consists mainly of maps of the Arboretum. Unlike the Maps series, however, many of the items depicted in the Plans and Proposals series never came to exist. Although most of the items in this series date from the late 1990s, it also includes a set of drawings from 1965 showing different perspectives along the First Trail.
