- We, Aresis and Thenapollos, both daughters of Siphon the elder, with, as our guardian, our relative Peloeis, son of Patynis, acknowledge that we consent to the sale of the vacant lots, which the brothers of our deceased father, Siphon, made to Hestia, and that we shall not proceed against it or bring any claim, and that no one else will in our behalf, either regarding these lots or regarding the share that belongs to us of the vacant lots in Kerkesoucha Orous, on the east side, which share Hestia has also cultivated as a garden, and that we shall not proceed against the sale or bring any claim in the matter of these lots as aforesaid. I, Peloeis, wrote for them, since they are illiterate, and I am their appointed guardian. Moreover, Sotas shall incur no loss with regard to the sums I owe him in accordance with the contracts on security as aforesaid.
