Day by day register of abstracts of the contracts recorded at the record-office (grapheion) of Tebtynis during the four last months of the 2nd year of the Emperor Claudius. - Col. III, abstract 14 records a sublease of 4 arourai, registered on May 21, 42 A.D. (the entry for this contract has been omitted from the register on the verso)

Translation
Horos the second, also called Peneis, son of Apollonios, a Persian of the epigone, about 40 years old, with a scar on the left forearm, has leased to Psosneus, son of Orseus, about54 years old, with a scar on the left knee, four arourai of an allotment, (measured) by the schoinion of 96 cubits, in one parcel, which he holds in lease near Theogonis, for sowing with chickling(?) (arakos) and pasturing and folding sheep, and he has received the rental and gives guarantee.
Signatory: Ptolemaios, son of Chairemon, about 72 years old, with a scar above the left elbow.
