Thatres, daughter of Psenamounis, about thirty years old, without distinguishing marks, acting with her guardian, her own brother by the same father and mother, Pakysis, about twenty-five years old, with a scar beneath the left knee, acknowledges to Pnepheros, son of Satabous, about thirty years old, with a scar on the back of his left forearm, that she has sold to him, Pnepheros, the Theban mills that belongs to her, Thatres, with the netherstone and handle, just as it is and not subject to rejection; and that she, Thatres, has received from Pnepheros the price agreed upon, twenty-eight silver drachmai, immediately from hand to hand out of the house; and that she, Thatres, and her representatives will guarantee. The signatory, Heron, son of Satyroos, about 29 years old, with a scar in the middle of his forehead.
- (2nd hand) I, Thatres, daughter of Psenamounis, acting with my guardian, Pakysis, my brother by the same father and mother, acknowledge that I have sold to Pnepheros, son of Satabous, the Theban mill that belongs to me, with the netherstone and handle, just as it is and not subject to rejection; and I have received the price agreed upon, twenty-eight silver drachmai, from hand to hand out of the house. I, Heron, son of Satyros, wrote for them because they are illiterate.
