- To Diodoros, son of Hatres, and his son Hatres from Kastor, son of Pnepheros, Persian of the epigone. I wish to lease from you the olive fruits that are growing and ripe for the present sixth year of Trajan Caesar the lord, from the two arourai of olive grove belonging to you, Diodoros, near Kerkesoucha, and from the one aroura of olive grove which Hatres holds near Karanis in accordance with a prepaid lease from Ptolemaios, son of Kastor; the total rental being for the two arourai near Kerkesoucha one metretes of strained, new, pure, unadultered olive oil, and for the one aroura near Karanis one metretes, altogether two metretai, which I shall pay [after the harvest(?)] in the month Tybi, if you consent [to the lease. . . .] about . . . years old, with a scar on his left knee. [. . .]
