- The year after the consulship of the most glorious Flavius Clementinus and the most glorious Flavius Probus, Epeiph 3, indiction 7.
- To the most admirable Athanasios, son of Paulos of discreet memory, formerly deacon, acting through you, Flavius Ioannes, biarches and guardian of the same reverend Athanasios, land-holder here in the brilliant city of Oxyrhynchus, Aurelius Serenus, son of Ioannes and Sophia, from the same city of Oxyrhynchus, greetings.
- I willingly undertake to lease from the first of the month of Thoth of the coming year 191 = 160, the D.V. eighth indiction, of the property which belongs to your excellency by right of an exchange which was made by the most holy catholic church, an entire house facing east, with every right attached thereto and all its appurtenances; and I shall pay annually to your excellency for the rent thereof five gold solidi less . . . carats on the private standard [- - -].
