- Translation
- (Recto)
- To Zenon greeting from Senchons. I made a petition to you about my she-ass which Nikias took. If you had written to me about her, I would have sent her to you. If it please you, order him to return her, so that we may carry the hives to the pastures, lest they be ruined and of no profit to yourself or the king. And if you examine the matter, you will be persuaded that we are useful to you. And the foal of the ass I will send him to you. I beg and beseech you then not to keep me waiting. I am widowed woman. May you prosper.
