On this side of the papyrus there are preserved parts of two columns of a private letter: from the first column the endings of 13 lines, and from the second 16 lines, containing the end of the letter, of which 15 are complete. The letter seems to concern some family quarrel over return of a dowry or division of an inheritance.

(Col. II): ". . .my brother having taken an ear-ring of . . . and a ring of two drachmas, hurled them at her in the presence of all kinsfolk.
Mummy Thaubarin and daddy Dios and my brother Heron and my son Dios send you salutations. I salute Herakles and his sister, and Dios, his wife and his children. I salute Aphrodas, his wife and his children, and Tanesneu, her children and her husband, and Eudemon, and his wife. I salute Albauis, Maximos, Helene, my sister (?) Isidora and all at home, each by name. Farewell."
