- The papyrus has been loined from three pieces, two were inventoried under no 122 (edited as P.Corn 53) and one under no 88 (edited as P.Corn 53). After joined only the right bottom portion of the preserved fragment is lost.

- Translation
- To my lord and brother Ammonianos from Gerontios, greeting. Yesterday I came to takona and engaged in the introduction of the other liturgical officials in order that the tax collection could proceed. I wonder that no one has brought me a letter from you, and I am disturbed because of it, since I do not know either how the household is or how affairs are going with us and in the city. Hasten therefore to write back to me on all matters, since you have many persons either of the postal service or of the village who are coming to Takona. As to the tax collections, if ... [at this point the papyrus is too fragmentary preserved to be translated]."
