Description
A fermenting olla full of maize beer. The bubbles on top of the beer indicate that it is rapidly fermenting. The Raramuri prefer such narrow-mouthed ollas for fermenting maize beer. They use wider-mouthed ollas for holding beer after it has fermented, storing water, cooking and similar tasks. No fermenting ollas are included in the collection.
