- Description
- Effigy is a relief carving of a human face on a half-round, oval piece of stone. The nose is prominent. Eyes are deep-set and round under high, arching eyebrows. The prominent lips are stylized. Ears are small and stylized. There is a large vertical groove on the back side. The effigy is made of brown sandstone. - Seip Mound, Burial 2 -- Trumpeter swan cut from tortoise shell. 6" long
- Effigy of a swan cut from tortoise shell. It has a very long neck that curves back along the length of the body. Features of the face are distinct; there is an upper and lower beak and a hole measuring 7.3 mm in diameter that represents an eye. Projections at the distal end indicate feathers. - engraved bone -- Harness Mound.
- Decorated bone, possibly from a bear, is very pale brown and gray in color. Sculpted in low relief on the bone are a raven's head and a stylized hand or feathers. The areas in negative relief were painted yellowish red. Each end of the bone has holes drilled on either side and the bone has been hollowed out.
