Woven textile with fringe at either end. Fringe is worn, loose ends have begun to unravel, bunch and tangle. Pattern is overlapping stripes around the edges (in dark green with a light colored thread creating a hatched and zig-zag pattern), two sets of stripes consisting of one thick band and two thinner bands on either side. Center of piece is symmetrical with vertically and horizontally mirroring patterns. 2 pattenered trapezoidal green bars halved

Description
Broom is made of an herbaceous plant which has a natural range of gold, yellow, light brown, and white coloration. The more stalky part of the grass is bound with wire into a cylindrical handle. The softer, more distal parts of the grass are spread using plastic stitching into a flat, wispy fan. Five wire bands are spaced roughly evenly along the handle.
