E B KAOLIN PIPE: The typical shape of the early kaolin trade pipe is the obtuse angle of the stem to the bowl and the acorn shape of the bowl. The rim of the bowl has a milled decoration with the heel of the pipe clearly defined and having the trademark E B stamped on it. The stem has been broken. Approximate age is from 1645 to 1660. SILVER WINE TASTER: A small two handled silver wine taster made of spun sheet silver. Four hallmarks are stamped on one side: A "T" on the shield, a tiger, a lion's head, and the initials "W.C." on a shield. The cup was made in London, England in 1637 by "W.C.", and on the bottom of the cup the owner has his initials engraved (H.I. or I.H.) Approximate age is 1645 to 1660.
