Bird Man Pendant: A shell pendant shaped somewhat like a man but more like a bird, and having a swallow's tail. This type of pendant appeared for a short time during the mid-Colonial period. Approximate age is from 1676 to 1687. Location - Rochester Junction Site, Mendon, New York. Dimensions are 6.5 cm. 2 cm.
