- New York, Lima. Power House Site. Mid-Colonial wampum beads. After 1640, wampum beads became quite common and most likely were made by the Dutch. The beads are both taper drilled from opposite ends and straight drilled from one end. The beads are round in cross section. 1645-1660. 6mm by 4mm
