- Represented here is the Mandala or "mystic circle", consisting of a central circle, a square and an outer circle. The center is a black, ten-armed deity (a Vajrakila? Or Samvara? ). Around it are various symbols and deities. At the top are religious teachers, lamas and monks, at the bottom, tutelary and protecting deities. The symbols and figures on the outer circle suggest the signs of the zodiac.
