Serpent Mounds, Peterborough, Ontario: view of excavation in Serpent Mound taken from northeast. Center line "baulk" extending from left in westerly direction. Long axis of mound turns to southwest a figure in red shirt. Burial #34 in baulk at lower left center, in shallow pit in original surface beneath mound. See old sod line in baulk beyond B #34. Note also rocks in and below fill and intrusion above Burial #34.
