SPECIAL NOTICE

OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING CORRECTIONS:

  • The second verse of the poem beginning on page 4 should read as follows:
    "Sick o' ways o' de city Tired o' de rip and tare — Peaceful, happy GeorgiaLord, if I was dare."
    And every place where "ob" is used it should be "o'"
  • In the last verse on page 13 there is a line short—next to last line should be— "Love I'll die for Thee." This should read as the second verse of the poem.
  • The word "the" in the last line of the poem "Spring" on page 14 should be "de."
  • The word "as" at the beginning of the line next to the last line of last verse on page 17 should be "an"
  • The word "lo'" in the fourth line on page 19 should be "lov'." The word "Love" in the line next to last line on same page should be "lov'."
  • The word "fea'" in second line of second verse of poem on page 26 should be "fes." The last word "rest" in the same verse should be "res'."
  • Question mark should be at end of 3rd line on page 37
  • The word "mind's" in first line of poems on page 71 should be "mind." The word "magnet" in 5th line should be "magic."
  • Next to last line on page 76 should read
    "That his trap wh't co't him."
