- Explanation by Samson Adams's sister-in-law, of the progress of acquiring a deed for Samson's land. Hunt and Furman were to get him the deed, but failed to do so. Samson requested Hunt to procure him the deed about 10 months before he died. The pork Samson carried out went to Hunt's store.
