About the construction

Description: Gable-end frame one-story building with return cornices and double doors in the west facade.
Date Of Construction: 1937
Context: The pump house was built by Henry Ford in the 1930s to provide water to the mill and extractor plant. This one room structure originally contained a water pump and holding tank.
