About the construction
- Description
- This transitional Queen Anne-Colonial Revival style house has cross gables with fish scale shingles and clapboard on the lower two stories. The front gable has a broken pediment and Palladian-style window. The full front porch is supported by round columns on molded cement base with balustrade. Leaded glass decorates the upper panes of the bay window on the west facade. A one-story wing on the rear has a porch with turned supports and balustrade. A lattice- sided handicap ramp wraps from the front porch to the rear on the east facade. Detached two car garage.

- This transitional Queen Anne-Colonial Revival style house is noteworthy for its simple classical details such as columned porch and Palladian-style window. It was occupied by the Burkhardt family from around 1920 to the 1940s. Jacob Burkhardt was a farmer.
