- Context
- This well maintained transitional Queen Anne-Colonial Revival house is significant for its architectural detailing which was typical of the 1910 period. It sits on a lot which was once split into an "L" shaped and a rectangular shaped parcel ; the east side of the lot ("L"shape) where this house sits was owned by Daniel Klein in 1920. Another property on the west side of lot 4 was owned by Thomas Beatty. In the 1940s the house was owned by Clarence Haarer who operated Haarer's Market at 106 W. Michigan.
