About the construction

Description: Two story, cross gambrel, Dutch Colonial Revival style house. Full width porch with fluted, round support columns resting on stone piers, and solid stone balustrade. One over one windows. Small square window in peak of gambrel. Shingle roof. Aluminum siding. Detached, one car, gable front garage with double swing out doors.
Date Of Construction: 1918
Context: Possible Pattern book house. George Shaw lived in the house 1920-1926. Clarence and Gertrude Cook owned it 1931-1947. After Clarence's death, Gertrude continued to live in the house until the present.
