About the construction

Description: Elongated, gable end, wood building with a metal roof. Italianate, molded wood, lintels. East facade has sliding doors. One and a half story addition on west facade with a flat roof. The lower section is wood, and the upper is metal.
Date Of Construction: 1880
Context: No buildings are shown on this location until the 1912 Sanborn map. However, the Italianate window lintels suggest a construction date of possibly 1880. It was probably one of the buildings of the F.W. Ford Lumber yard. No documentation exists to substantiate this.
