Determination by the homage that Richard Wylson, before the last court surrendered into the lord's hands, through the hands of John Vesey, tenant of this manor, two acres of meadow called Broughton Meadow [2] abutting on Negre Meadow [3] with appurtenances, to the use [4] of Margaret Willson, his wife, and their heirs, to whom the lord, through his Steward, granted seisin, to be held from the lord, by the rod, at the will of the lord, according to the custom of the manor, for 4 s. 8 d. annual rent, suit to court, and all other customs and services owed therein. Determination by the homage that Elizabeth Dawbye, late wife of Thomas Leisley, who died before the last court, held for a life term one messuage with one close, two pightles and four acres of arable land pertaining to the said messuage, [and that there remain] Alice Lisley, Joan Leisley, Margaret Leisley and Elizabeth Leisley, her daughters and heiresses, who, present here in court, seek admittance, to whom the lord, through his Steward, granted seisin, to be held from the lord, by the rod, at the will of the lord, according to the custom of the manor, for 10 s. annual rent, suit to court, and all other customs and services owed therein.
