Teapot, on gray background (Théière sur fond gris)
Lithograph print on white paper. In the center, a very bulbous teapot, with a large conical mouth and protruding spout, is depicted in crude outline and filled in with patchy dark brown. To the right is a banana and the outline of an apple. A gray background fills the space around the objects and trails off into the white paper at the edges.
This is an ink drawing in shades of black and brown. In the center there is a figure of a seated nude woman with her back to the viewer. The top of her head is a swirl of dark black lines. In the upper right corner is a three-masted sailing ship.

The print depicts the landscape of hills by the sea, with some residential houses and a bridge in the left foreground. The print also illustrats ships floating on the water and birds flying above the sea from the distant mountain.
Swift, spontaneous brushwork is used to capture a winter landscape. Two fishermen, wearing wide-brimmed straw hats and thatched grass rain capes, work their way through the heavy snow as they cross a bridge, carrying nets on their shoulders.
