The animals are presented in zodiac sequence, from right to left: mouse, ox, tiger, hare, dragon, serpent, horse, goat, monkey, chicken, dog, and boar. The eight-fold screen allows the animals to seem to walk across the space. The peaked shade has eight panels with overlaid linear copper border decoration above a cove molded lower rim. The lamp retains four original sockets. The upper column consists of an octagonal capped vase-form with a dominant ogee profile over a round medial column which is slightly beveled in form and decorated with spaced, spirally arranged brass rods applied to its surface. The octagonal molded base repeats the ogee profile of the upper vase form.

Physical Description
A rectangular shaped plate with eight circular patterns. The rim is slightly flared out to create the concave shape. The top surface is unglazed, scorched to an intense red. The bottom does not have foot. In the kiln, the thick clay slabs were stacked close together so that the floating ash landed on the edge of the plate facing the flame. The circular patterns are areas that were protected from the flame by cylinder clay spacers.

Physical Description
Pear-shaped stoneware wine bottle with white slip and sgraffito designs. Stylized foliage is incised across the main register of the body, separated from the register above by two incised bands. Above this are perhaps incised stylized petals, and separating them from the flared lip of the bottle are two more incised bands. The incisions reveal the gray clay beneath the white slip.

Stoneware jar with natural ash glaze and bell-shaped lid. Along the widest horizontal stretch of the base is an incised circle-and-dot design. A variation on this pattern also loops around the lid, topped by a line marking a ring along the surface of the lid, and incised lines extending outward from a button-shaped knob.
