A woodblock print depicting a post town in the Edo period of Japan. There is a wooden structure to the left. It looks like a store, with a list of products hanging on the frame of the door. White flags with a blue circular design hang from the roof to the left and to right near a grouping of trees. Two groups of five men are in front of the structure, five to the left, five towards the center of the image. A thin vertical stick structure is right of center in the foreground.

Physical Description
It is a round, stoneware plate. Clay is red covered with mottled grayish glaze and painted with underglaze iron and white slip. Imperfection of clay was resulted in occasional bumps on surface. Six spur marks are visible on the bottom. Slab is roughly cut (deliberately); the plate is in slightly convex shape. Artist’s seal with underglaze iron appears on the bottom.

A container with an animal (dragon) shaped head as a lid; four paws at the bottom of the container. Glazed stoneware, sculpted with teeth incisions. Tan with red spots of coloring, partiallyy covered with olive colored gloss over a high-fire red clay. Small swirl design on sides and front area has carving to indicate the front/chest of the animal, sculpted with teeth and incisions.

This print of a calendar for the month of January, 1964, is dominated by red. Blues and purples round out the composition. Sundays are indicated with red numbers and purple boxes, while the rest of the calendar days sit in red boxes with the numbered date showing as paper through negative space. The year 1963 is printed at top center in a rounded and pointed red rectangular shape. Birds, flowers, and kanji are used to decorate the upper register.

Physical Description
Flower shaped incesnse container consisting of two halves, which open horizontally, and fit together very precisely. Decorated with ash glaze, which gives the pottery a deep red color, deeper on the top and slightly lighter on rest of the container, with black as an accent color primarily on two sides of the container in a line going from the top of the piece to the bottom. The top of the container is very dramatically textured is a symetrical series of ridges which create the petals and shape of the flower.
