Jar with abstract dragon design

Round porcelain jar with iron pigment under colorless glaze. An abstract dragon spirals around and up the body of the piece, marked by quick brushstrokes indicating scales and unrestrained swirls indicating features such as its head and feet. A slight valley in the contour of the jar marks where two separately thrown pieces were joined together.

The foot is rather small for the size of the body.

The vase has a slightly outward-turned rim and a short neck. The elegantly-shaped bottle flares out to a broad shoulder, then tapers gradually to a slim waist before flaring out once more at the base. The convex lid has on its top a long knob which has three square perforations. The lid is decorated with vertical rows of gouged dots. This vessel consists of a cup with an outward-flaring mouth supported on an inverted V-shaped pedestal foot. A single oval-shaped handle is attached to the underside of the cup. The pedestal foot is decorated with four vertical rectangular perforations. Immediately below this is a pair of thin horizontal ridges, which also encircle the body of the cup.

Thick ridges encircle the mid upper part of the body and the lower and middle parts of the neck. The lower two sections of the neck are embellished with a delicate wave pattern. The low pedestal foot features eight square perforations at even intervals.

Oil Lamp in the Shape of an Equestrian Warrior

There is a lamp-oil container with hole over the hips of the horse, and a spout sticks out in the front breast of the horse, which enables to pour out water through the inside of the stomach of horse. Vessel in the shape of a duck

A stoneware vessel designed for pouring or possibly to serve as an oil lamp, in the shape of a duck. The lower half of the duck's body and "legs" are formed by a shallow bowl on an openwork pedestal; the sides of the bowl have been compressed to make an elongated shape. The upper half of the duck's body, and its neck and head are formed by hand, The duck's body is hollow, with two aperture: liquids can be poured in through a funnel with a cup-shaped mouth on the duck's back, and liquids can be poured out through a wide opening at the tail.

A band stretches along the base of the neck demarcated by two outside lines, and a stamped row of stylized flowers centered in between them. Below the band the body of the bottle dramatically begins to curve outward. Along the body are a series of vertical comb-punched radiating lines.
