Physical Description
A model of a full-scale sculptural fountain in front of the architect's home in Los Angeles, CA.
This 3D-printed ABS model was made in preparation for a full-scale sculptural fountain installed in front of the architect's home. Lynn worked with Andres Froch of Machineous in developing "Fountain No. 2" and its predecessor "Fountain No. 1", which was displayed initially at the Hammer Museum in 2010. Both are assemblies of individual plastic parts, including commercial children's toys, that are scanned digitally, composed in a digital 3d environment, and cut using a robotic arm.
