5-syllable, 8-line poem, in running script. Over the windy cliff, snow blows from the dark sky the waterfall roars at the cloudy gate; Awoken from a drunk, I miss my sleeping mat; cold in my clothes, I long for fur and a quilted robe; a rustic old man comes to meet his guest he does no accept money for the fish he caught in the river I presume from such humble and simple behavior that he dwells in a self contained domain. Signed by artist: Chiang Ch'en-ying; Two artist's seals follow the inscription: Chiang Ch'en-ying yin, Hsi-ming; One artist's seal at upper right corner: Lao-yi Chai; One collector's seal at lower left corner: Chuan ? yung ?.
