- Inscribed by the artist: The bones of Wang Mêng have already become immortal. But painting, realizing what is lofty and untrammeled, is still here. By a leisurely window, I try to capture the style. I dare to presume the wind and mists of Wang-ch'uan. Once I saw a Wang Mêng original and so, from memory, I am copying it. I deeply regret it is not close. Hou Mou-kung (I-men Hou Mou-kung). Seal of artist: Hou Mou-kung yin; Additional Inscriptions and Seals: Label: Hou I-men fang Huang-ho shan-ch'iao shan-shui. T'ien-ch'üan-ko ts'ang. Hsiao-fan t'i. Seal: Hsiao-fan. Seals: Ti-hsin-i (Purified Heart Pavilion) shu-hua-yin; Wên-ch'üan; T'ien-ch'üan-ko.
