An Act Supplemental to an Act Entitled ``An Act to Erect Certain Bridges'' Approved Jan. 22, 1831

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois represented in the General Assembly: That the county of Knox shall be entitled

to all the benefits of the act to which this is supplemental; Provided the county commissioner's court of said county, shall comply with the requisites of said act, within two years from the passage of this act.

[1]   AD, I-Ar. The bill was written by Lincoln, but introduced by William McMurtry on February 13. It passed the House and was amended in the Senate to apply also to McDonough County. As amended, the bill appears in Laws of Illinois, 1837, p. 26.
