Amendment Introduced in Illinois Legislature
to an Act Making Appropriations for the Years 1841 and 1842 [1]

To William W Watson the sum of eightyone dollars for the use of a room for the Supreme Court twentyseven days at their June term 1840.

[1]   AD, I-Ar. Written by Lincoln but moved by Ebenezer Peck, representative from Cook County, the amendment was adopted, making the twelfth part of section three of the bill as printed in the Laws of Illinois, 1841, pp. 28-31.
