[1] ADS, ORB. The Trents, New Salem businessmen, sued Rutledge, Green, and Lincoln on this bond on August 26, 1833, to secure conveyance of the land described therein. The case was dismissed on September 16, each party paying one-half of the costs. David Rutledge was the son of James Rutledge, co-founder of New Salem.
