The document records the purchase of Radford's store by Green. Later on the same day, Lincoln and his new partner William F. Berry bought the same from Green for approximately $750, paying $265 cash, and assuming the payment of the two notes of $188.50 each given by Green to Radford. Berry gave Green a horse, saddle, and bridle for the remainder.
