Fragment of woven wool fabric with brown and gold warps on one side andall brown warps on the other side. The mixed warps are in groups of 2 or 3. There is a wide blue/purple weft band approximately 5 cm wide with brown weft on either side. Three sides have been folded over and sewn with overcast stitches. One edge has become unfolded. The opposite edge hem has been sewn to form a point. There is a parallel row of stitches approximately 2.5 cm in from the edge that is the same shape. A smaller fragment (11300b) has been sewn to 11300a.

Fragment of brown woven wool fabric (main fragment) with a blue/purple weft band along one edge (.5cm wide) and eight small fragments sewn to it. Six of the smaller fragments (A, B, C, D, F & G) are pale brown/gold warp and weft, four of these (B, C, D & F) have remnants of purple weft bands at one end (from 0.4 cm to 1 cm wide). These may all be from the same fabric. There are remnants of countered weft twining on fragment F. The twining loops pass over three warp yarns. The sixth, fragment E, is brown warp and weft with a divided band of two purple pinstripes near one edge. The pinstripes are each two picks wide with three picks of brown in between for a total width of 0.2 cm. They are 1.7 cm from the edge of the fragment. The seventh and eighth fragments (G & H) are brown/gold warp and weft. Individual measurements areas follows:

A - warp 25 cm, weft 14 cm, brown warp and weft, one doubled warp (switching back and forth between s and z twist weft makes analmost herringbone design in some areas.)

B - warp 35.5 cm, weft 8.5 cm, brown warp and weft

C - warp 16 cm, weft 14.5 cm, brown warp and weft

D - warp 13.5 cm, weft 11 cm, brown warp and weft

E - (two pieces) total warp 18.5 cm, weft 3 cm, brown warp and weft

F - warp 9.5 cm, weft 4 cm, yellow warp and weft

G - 6 cm, weft 15 cm, brown warp and weft, purple weft band at least 0.5 cm wide, weft twining over three warps

There are remnants of purple weft bands in folded strips sewn to fragment B which could possibly be part of fragment D. The fragments are tightly sewn, torn and very brittle, so it is difficult to determine which parts belong to which fragment.

Large piece of brown woven wool fabric with folded hem. Another piece of fabric has been sewn to it at the hem and two other tiny fragments have adhered to it. There are rows of stitching at the hem and several other places. There is a spot near one edge where extra wefts have caused a distortion in the weave. There are two small pieces near this distortion that could possibly be parts of a selvedge remnant.

The next layer has yellowed warp with yellowed weft on one side and blue/purple weft on the other. The top two layers have natural brown warp and green weft and may be from the same original fabric. Several strands of brown yarn are caught in sewing at the edge of the yellowed bottom fabric, possibly from the top fabric.
