Tapestry roundel with yellowed warp and purple weft. There are linen slit tapestry motifs near the outside edge. Linen weft-wrapping was used for patterning within the roundel but is now very deteriorated. Approximately 2/3 of the roundel was woven with a dark purple and the other 1/3 with a lighter purple. A small amount of the yellow ground weave is present around the outside of the roundel.

This rectangular fragment (a patch?) consists of four pieces of plain-woven wool. One piece is a larger rectangle. Three smaller fragments of the same fabric have been sewed to it. The two smallest pieces were sewed on at right angles. The dimensions given above reflect overall rectangular shape rather than warp and weft directions. The warp for all pieces is brown/gold. One of the small fragments has brown/gold weft. The others have brown/gold weft and large areas of purple weft. There is a ribbed selvedge along one edge of the largest piece, which may have been a patch for the rest of the fabric. The other three edges are turned over and hemmed.

Fragment of woven wool fabric with brown/gold warp and brown weft. There are three tapestry bands, each approximately 0.9 cm wide and 2 cm apartand ornamented with ovals (geometric or floral motifs?) that are 2 to 2.5 cm wide. The bands are edged with linen and there is linen patterning in the ovals. One edge of each blue band encircles the warp near the edge and there are remnants of dove-tailing with the brown background weft. There are very deteriorated linen motifs between the blue bands and between the last blue band anda partial row of countered weft-twining. This row of red twining is doubled for most of its length but narrows before reaching the other edge. The twining loops pass over two warps each. There area few yarns from (apparently) random stitches.

Fragment of woven wool fabric with yellow warp and background weft anda blue/black tapestry roundel. The oval shaped center of the roundel is surrounded by 18 small circles. Linen weft-wrapping was used to form circles within these small circles. There are remnants of linen weft-wrapping lines within the oval, as well as outlining the oval (geometric interlace?). The outside edge of the yellow background fabric appears to have been cut.

Two woven wool fragments that have been sewed together at right angles. Fragment A - yellow warp and weft with a 3 cm wide dark blue/purple weft band 0.6 cm from one edge. 0.3 cm and 1.8 cm from the other side of this weft band there are two countered weft-twining rows. The farthest twining row does not continue across the fragment. There is as single twining row between the blue/purple band and the edge of the fragment. The twining loops pass over two warps each.

There are remnants of small linen slit tapestry elements along the edges of the blue bands. There arealso some remnants of these linen slit tapestry elements within the largest blue band, as well as some linen weft-wrapping. There are remnants of stitches along the weft twining edge.
This fragment consists of two yellowed woven wool fragments (A1andA2) from the same web and three smaller fragments with yellow warp and blue weft (B1, B2 and B3) from the same web. Fragment B1 has a 0.2 cm wide yellow weft band. Fragments A1andA2 were sewed to each other and B2 and B3 were sewed to A1, while B1 was sewed to A2. There is a very small amount of red wool fiber in fragment A1.

Fragment of woven wool fabric with brown warp and weft anda rectangular section of purple and white dovetailed tapestry with linen weft-wrapping. There is a ribbed selvedge along one side of the fabric. The tapestry section begins 3 cm from the selvedge, and its rectangular shape is divided by two 0.2 cm wide brown bands into three purple and white bands. The outer two bands are 3.1 cm and 3.5 cm wide and they are ornamented with weft wrapping in interlaced patterning that begins 1.7 cm from the dovetail edge. A line of white linen triangles extends weftwise in slit tapestry along the bottom and top edges of each outer band. The center band is 1.7 cm wide and is ornamented with a repeating pattern of circles and vine scrolls.

Fragment of woven wool fabric with 2-ply yellow warp, mostly yellow weft with a few very deteriorated bands of brown, red and blue (shaded stripes?). There areareas of eccentric weft along one edge. There is a discontinuous pick of red wool near a warp-wise edge with areas of discontinuous yellow wefts that create a gathered appearance in the fabric. There is a discontinuous brown band which comes to a point along this same edge. Along the opposite warp-wise edge there is a short discontinuous pick of blue weft. Other brown bands are present alonga weft-wise edge. There areareas of red and blue blended wool in these bands. These bands are very deteriorated.
Fragment of woven wool fabric with brown bands (shaded stripes?), a section of tapestry in one corner, a 2-ply warp anda ribbed selvedge. The brown band section is 6 cm wide and has some tapestry patterning using the browns and some yellow weft. A yellow weft band is from 3 cm to 5.5 cm wide. A tapestry section is in along one corner of the yellow band. Eccentric wefts cause the tapestry to be ata slight angle from this band. Some of the weft is so tightly twisted that it is kinked.
