- The above measurements do not reflect warp and weft directions. This small piece is probably a decorative tassel (pendant?) with undyed linen yarn and yellow and purple wool. The linen yarns have been tied in a large overhand knot at the opposite end from the wool. A section of linen yarns also has a knot.

- Fairly clean. Some of the linen yarns are broken, the wool shows some wear from abrasion. There is a crimped (grid) impression on one side of the wool, possibly from nylon netting. Some of the linen yarns have a bluish cast, possibly a stain from the purple wool.
- Structure Details
- The linen yarns are in two groups; one with 33 yarns, the other with 14 yarns. There is a slight Z-twist to both groups of yarns, the smaller group being more pronounced. At the end opposite the large overhand knot, loosely spun wool yarn was wrapped around pairs of linen yarn end loops. Yellow wool was used with purple at the tip. There are 27 wool wrapped ends. Linen yarn was wrapped around the group of wool wrapped ends to secure the tassel end.
