Positions and Openings

The JAHC will henceforth be posting announcements of professional positions in the related fields of history and computing. To post your announcement please follow these guidelines:

  • Send us your announcement formatted as a Microsoft Word file if at all possible.
  • No graphics, please, we do not have time to work with them.
  • This is a free service; we cannot make changes to such announcements nor remove them between issues.
  • Each issue will contain only references newly bought to our attention. If an institution does wish that a notice be carried over, they must notify us to do so.
  • We cannot respond to communications regarding your announcement, so be sure that you provide adequate contact information.
  • Neither can we provide candidates with additional information regarding postings; please contact the institution directly.
  • TO POST A POSITION: contact Jeffrey Barlow <barlowj@pacificu.edu>

CONFERENCES: Please note: In order to offer a wide range of useful services, many conference announcements are now produced as a newsletter by Professor Jere L. Jackson, President of the AAHC. The newsletter is maintained at Stephen F. Austin State University, Nacogdoches, Texas.
