The Finance Committee reported:- 1982 (1918) In the matter of the message of the Mayor, No. 1982, transmitting Auditin Price, Waterhouse & Company on the Water and Power Funds, we recommend that said be received and placed on file. Lyons, Registrar of Voters of the Los Angeles, this day (October 15, 1918), and have agreed to and signed for, on City, the attached recommendations. RECOMMENDATIONS AS TO A JUST DIVISION OF EXPENSE, BETWEEN THE COUNT"I OF L AND THE CITY OF LOS ANGELES IN RE GENERAL ELECTION TO BE BELD ON THE F IF TH OF NOVEMUBE, 1918. The undersigned, being authorized to confer with reference to a just divi expense, between the County and City of Los Angeles, for the conduct of the Gene to be held November 5th, 1918, respectfully agree upon, and submit to the County Supervisors and the City Council of Los Angeles, the following basis, to wit: That the City of Los Angeles shall pay as follows: 5/8 of the cost of "stuffing" sample ballots, and enclosures therewith; 1/7 of the cost of printing sample ballots sent out in the City of Los An 1/7 of the cost of printing the City official ballots; 1/7 of the cost of the ballot paper used in printing official City and Co 1/11 of the cost of furnishing the city tally lists; 1/11 of the cost of furnishing city semi-official lists; It is recommended that the foregoing sums to be paid by the City of Los A ty Attorney, end that the rid in favor ted.
