¶Benedictus dominus deus Israel: quia ui∣sitauit & fecit Redemptionem plebis sue.
ET erexit cornu salutis nobis in domo Dauid pueri sui.
¶Sicut locutus est per os sanctorum: qui à seculo sunt prophetarum eius.
Salutem ex inimicis nostris, & de manu omnium qui oderunt nos.
Ad faciendam misericordiam cum patribus nostris, & memorari testamenti sui sancti: Iusiurandum quod iurauit ad Abraham pa∣trem nostrum daturum se nobis.
Vt sine timore de manu inimicorum nostro∣rum liberati seruiamus illi: In sanctitate & iusticia coram ipso omnibus diebus nostris.
Et tu puer propheta altissimi uocaberis: preibis enim ante faciē domini, parare uias eius: Ad dandam scientiam salutis plebi e∣ius, in remissionem peccatorū eorum: Per uiscera misericordie dei nostri, in quibus ui∣sitauit nos oriens ex alto: Illuminare his qui in tenebris & in umbra mortis sedent ad dirigendos pedes nostros in uiam pacis.
