THE PREFACE OF The LORDS PRAYER.
Offering many Particulars to consideration, pertinent to other Duties an Objects of our Christian Faith; as well as to the true under∣standing and right use of that Prayer, with∣out imposing upon any, ought more then he shall conscientiously believe▪ till con∣vinced by better informatiion; which the Author humbly prays all his Readers to re∣member, for prevention of uncharitable Prejudice.
After this manner pray ye; or, as it is written, Ink. 12. 2. When ye pray, say; Our Father which are in Heaven, hallowed be thy Name: Thy Kingdom come; thy Will be done in Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread: And forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil; For, thine is the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory, for ever. Amen.
