The first Chapter ; Wherein it is proued that there is only one thing, out of the which the secret Spirit, or the PhilosophersStone, may be taken. -
The second Chapter ; In which shall bee seene, (by meanes of many sentences of di∣uersPhilosophers ) if it can beeiudged, what thing is this onely thing. -
The third Chapter ; Wherin is proued, that of necessi∣ty it behoueth to reduce the body tothe first matter, that it may be dispo∣sed for the separation of the Elements. -
The fourth Chapter ; Where it shall bee seene if it bee possible, to know what thing isthis first matter. -
The fifth Chapter ; In which is handled the separati∣on of the foure Elements, which theapparitions of that secret Spirit doe signifie. -
