yimme (n.) Also 3em-, (chiefly early) 3imme, (early) ym-, 3im-; pl. 3immes & (early) 3immæs, gim(m)es, (gen.) gimmen, (dat.) 3immum & (?errors) 3immies, gummes.

[OE gim, gym, oblique gimm-; form in -e- may reflect influence of ME g hacekemme n., from which 1st quot. in sense 1.(a) should be deleted.]
