University Library Digital Spatial Data Catalog

This is a searchable collection of descriptions, or metadata, of data that are designed for use with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software. Each record includes information on how to obtain the data, e.g., a link to the Library's online Spatial Data Server or a Library call number. Access to metadata records is unrestricted. Access to some data sets is restricted.

Search Setup

First, select the data set you wish to search. The default is for all the data sets to be searched together. To restrict your search, check only the box(es) corresponding to the data set(s) you wish to search.

Second, select a search type and click 'continue.' Important: The 'advanced search with map interface' option is not available when searching more than 9 collections simultaneously. Also note that to use it you need the Sun Java Virtual Machine (JVM) and a compatible browser.
